PSC Public hearing: Monday, April 8
We’re joining with 40 Montana organizations and businesses to ask Montana’s utility regulator (the PSC) to consider climate impacts in its oversight duties. Attend the public hearing on Monday, April 8, 2024.
Tell DEQ: Prioritize Montana Schools
COMMENTS DUE FEBRUARY 15
The state of Montana accepted an EPA planning grant to formulate an emissions reduction plan for the state. Governor Gianforte named the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) as the lead agency. DEQ just released the Draft Plan. Upon completion by March 1, Montana will be eligible to apply for up to $4.6 billion available for competitive implementation grants.

Recently, I’ve been remembering the words a friend once shared to me about the beauty of the seasonal shift: That winter is naturally a time to reflect and slow down, and if we lean into it rather than fighting it, this time to rest can be healing.
I wonder: can we allow this cue to rest and reflect to bleed into the sphere of climate action?
