Contact Governor Gianforte: Take climate seriously and act now.

Smoke over Missoula, July 2021.

Smoke over Missoula, July 2021.

Because of climate change we have been experiencing an extended period of intense summer heat in Montana that is killing fish in our rivers, increasing risk of more wildfires and making the smokey days even more oppressive.

Families must be in guard in wildfire areas, some family members are on the fire lines risking their lives, the water supply is being impacted in some communities, and summer camps (and our kids) are being forced indoors on the many days our air quality has been dangerous.

Meanwhile Governor Gianforte just left the U.S. Climate Alliance, and is NOT at the table to talk serious solutions. In fact, the Montana Climate Solutions Plan, forged in partnership across sectors by Governor Bullock seems to be gathering dust.

Call the Governors office at (406) 444-3111 today (or email him here) to take the climate crisis seriously, and act now so all Montana families can have a safe and healthy future.

Then, join us at one of our upcoming events to send him in a personal message. We’re collecting as many as possible for a giant card we will deliver to the Governor’s office to show why Montana families need him to act.
