Volunteer Day at the Rocky Mountain Garden

Join Families for a Livable Climate for a summer volunteer outing at Rocky Mountain Gardens! In place of our monthly Core Volunteer gathering, we'll spend the morning helping care for one of Missoula's most beautiful community spaces while connecting with fellow climate advocates.

Gardens are powerful climate solutions - they support pollinators, build healthy soil, capture carbon, and strengthen community resilience. And sometimes climate action looks less like meetings and more like getting your hands in the dirt alongside neighbors.

We'll begin with a brief FLC volunteer update before joining Rocky Mountain Gardens' open volunteer session, where staff will guide us in seasonal garden projects. No gardening experience is necessary, and all ages and ability levels are welcome.

Date: Thursday, July 9
Time: 9:30 AM–12:00 PM
Location: Rocky Mountain Gardens, 1075 South Ave W, Missoula

Come enjoy a summer morning outdoors, meet other members of our climate community, and help care for a local space that benefits people, pollinators, and the planet.
