Join Mighty Missoula for their second gathering where they'll go deep into how geothermal energy networks (TENs) are changing the way communities heat and cool buildings.
Learn how TENs offer safe, affordable, and equitable energy solutions by delivering reliable, noncombustible heating and cooling, reducing peak loads, and stabilizing utility costs. These systems promote healthier indoor and outdoor air quality, and create job opportunities for trades like gas utility workers and pipe-fitters.
What to Expect
Speaker: Learn from industry leader Will Lange, Director of Utility Engagement at WaterFurnace International and member of the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association.
Local Insights: Hear from Missoula County's Home Upgrade Hub and nonprofit Ecocity Builders (co-organizer of the Mighty Missoula event series).
Interactive Activities: Experience a fun TEN energy demo and take a guided tour of the venue’s own geothermal energy system.
Connections: Network, spark discussions, and enjoy lite snacks.
They’ll also explore the potential of the Missoula Aquifer as a source for ground-source heat pump networks—transferring stable temperatures from this natural resource to buildings for efficient heating and cooling.
