Cultivating Community Climate Resilience Through Storytelling

Join us to hear voices from Western Montana sharing community-based climate resilience stories on Tuesday, Feb. 13 from 6-7pm in the Missoula Public Library Cooper Room A (401). Then visit the ResilienceMT climate resilience exhibition at spectrUM on the 2nd floor from 7-8pm. This event is inspired by ResillenceMT, a NOAA-funded, University of Montana project working with Montana communities to build resilience to wildfires, drought, flooding, and extreme heat.

Event speakers will include University of Montana’s Justin Angle talking about his “Fireline” podcast and “This is Wildfire” book, Laura Garber of Homestead Organics speaking about superpowers in nature, and UM student, Priya Subberwal, speaking about transformation and renewal.

This event is hosted by spectrUM Discovery Area, UM Environmental Studies Program, and Families for a Livable Climate with a special thanks to MCAT and KFGM.
