Electric School Bus Drive N' Ride

  • Harlow’s Truck Center, Building 2 8275 US Highway 10 West Missoula, Montana (map)

Interested in the latest electric bus technology? Ready to save your school district tons of money? Just curious about electric vehicles? Are you a transportation director, superintendent, or school board member interested in applying for electric bus funding?

Come to the FREE Drive & Ride event to inspect new electric bus models and charging equipment, take a test ride (or even drive one yourself), and get your questions answered by expert mechanics.

Free lunch will be provided.

Please RSVP to Saxton Soley at saxton.soley@goharlows.com.

Electric school buses are vastly cheaper to operate and maintain.

  • At Montana’s Havre Public Schools electric buses cost 23 cents a mile, versus 56 cents a mile for diesel buses.

  • Produce zero emissions, making for cleaner, healthier air for kids and drivers.

  • Handle hills, snow, and cold temperatures just as well—or better—than diesel buses.

There are also federal funds available for electric school buses through the EPA’s Clean School Bus Program. Attendees will have the opportunity to sign on to a group application for the next round of grants prepared by Harlow’s/International for deeply discounted new buses.

Please RSVP to Saxton Soley at saxton.soley@goharlows.com.

This event is in partnership with Moms Clean Air Force & Montana Health Professionals for a Healthy Climate.
