At Montana’s Havre Public Schools electric buses cost 23 cents a mile, versus 56 cents a mile for diesel buses.
Produce zero emissions, making for cleaner, healthier air for kids and drivers.
Handle hills, snow, and cold temperatures just as well—or better—than diesel buses.
There are also federal funds available for electric school buses through the EPA’s Clean School Bus Program. Attendees will have the opportunity to sign on to a group application for the next round of grants prepared by Harlow’s/International for deeply discounted new buses.
