A community climate conversation for parents and other adult family members.
Three-quarters of Americans hear about climate change from someone they know only twice every year.
Scientist Katharine Hayhoe summed up the impact of this silence very clearly: “If we don’t talk about it, we won’t care about it, and we won’t take action.”
This free event will engage participants in the basic science and impacts of the climate crisis on Montana, and help them build confidence in sharing their climate concerns through stories, inspiring personal and public action. This workshop is for people who are concerned about the climate crisis, and would like to have conversations and get involved, but aren’t sure where to start. All are welcome.
You must register. Capped at 10 participants.
