Join Families for a Livable Climate and the Montana Chapter of the Sierra Club this winter for a statewide book group series exploring What If We Get It Right? by climate scientist and writer Ayana Elizabeth Johnson. Through this hopeful and solutions-oriented book, participants will explore how communities can create meaningful climate action rooted in joy, connection, and imagination.
Over January and February 2026, readers will gather across three Montana communities — Missoula, Bozeman, and Kalispell — to discuss the book in a welcoming, inclusive environment. Each session will include guided discussions, reflection activities, and opportunities to connect with others who are imagining what a regenerative, thriving future could look like.
When: 6:00–7:30 p.m.
Missoula:
Jeannette Rankin Peace Center: Tuesdays, January 13 & 27; February 10
Montana Natural History Center: Tuesday, February 24
Books are available through local libraries and independent bookstores. Everyone is welcome — no prior experience needed, just curiosity and a willingness to explore how we can “get it right” together.
