We've all heard the expression that we "vote with our dollars". Typically, we think of this expression when we're buying a product or service. But wait! There is much more to the story!
October 1st | 11:45am - 1:45pm | Missoula Public Library | 4th Floor Cooper Room A & B
Come learn how sustainable responsible investing (SRI) holds exciting potential as an additional pathway for expressing your values (i.e. "voting"). We'll discuss why/how SRI represents a huge opportunity for Montanans to positively impact capital markets within our state and well beyond!
This is a two-part workshop:
The first part of the session will focus on the evolution and growth of SRI at national and global scales, concluding with Montana-specific data that shows the breadth and scale of the potential for Montanas to make a difference right here within our state.
The second part of the session will zero in on how individuals can shift their investments and bring them into alignment with their values without sacrificing returns. Lastly, we'll offer resources for folks with employer-sponsored retirement plans to empower and encourage you to explore your options for SRI with your employer.
