We have most of the solutions we need to address the climate crisis, but how do we get them implemented? There is much to do in the political arena, but equally critical is to build broad support for change in our communities through our shared values. According to Katharine Hayhoe, climate scientist and expert climate communicator, this is one of the most important actions we can take everyday to make a difference.
Join our workshop and practice session for people dedicated to having more, and/or more effective, climate conversations with their family, friends, and in their community. We will use the framework laid out by Katharine Hayhoe in her book, Saving Us: A Climate Scientist’s Case for Hope and Healing in a Divided World (check out our recent book discussion and Q&A with Hayhoe, as well as her TED talk), along with reflection, discussion, role play, problem solving, and other tools to build our skills.
