Don't fall for gas!
As you may know, NorthWestern Energy is planning to build a gas plant in Laurel, MT.
On Thursday, September 16th, from 6:30-8:00 pm (via Zoom), MEIC and Montana Health Professionals for a Healthy Climate will lead a discussion on the dangers of continuing to rely on gas to heat our homes, fuel our appliances, or generate electricity. Join them to learn more about the climate and health dangers of gas extraction, transportation, and burning, and hear from other Montana organizations about what they are doing to address the climate crisis and to decrease Montana’s use of gas.
Register here for September 16th event.
If you are interested in learning more about NorthWestern’s gas plant proposal and its many flaws, join their second event on Thursday, October 21st, from 5:30-6:30 pm (via Zoom).
