As we head into our autumn Fridays for Action meet ups, we will dedicate 1-2 sessions each month to our ongoing focused antiracism work. Our session this week will focus on somatic abolitionism work as offered in Resmaa Menakem’s book, My Grandmother’s Hands. Jenny Mish will lead. Jenny is part of a local community of white people who have been practicing Resmaa Menakem’s principles since 2020.

Join us in the Blackfoot room on the 4th floor of the Missoula Public Library at 9:15 a.m. on September 9 to participate, and meet our core team. Knowledge of Menakem’s work is helpful, but not required.
